Dhaka, March 16 -- United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres has left Dhaka at the end of a four-day official visit.
His flight departed from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 9:55am on Sunday, the Chief Advisor's Office said in a statement.
Environment Advisor Rizwana Hasan and Khalilur Rahman, the chief advisor's high representative on Rohingya issues, bid him farewell at the airport.
Ahead of his departure, Guterres spoke with Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus over the phone to exchange farewell greetings.
Guterres arrived in Dhaka on Thursday at the invitation of Yunus. Upon his arrival, he was received by Foreign Affairs Advisor Md Towhid Hossain at the airport.
