Dhaka, May 5 -- Two victims of an explosion at a textile factory in Rupganj, Narayanganj have succumbed to their burn injuries.

Md Abdul Hannan died at 3am on Monday and Kabir Hossain died at 9:30am while undergoing treatment, confirmed Dr Shawon Bin Rahman, resident surgeon of the emergency department at the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery.

Hannan, 50, was the son of Md Shafiq of Kalikapur village in Lakshmipur's Ramganj Upazila while Kabir, 45, was the son of Md Rafiq of the Ruposhi area of Narayanganj's Rupganj Upazila.

Both of them were security guards at Jainpuri Ashrafia Textile Mill in the Ruposhi Kazipara area of Rupganj Upazila.
