Dhaka, March 4 -- A money exchange trader was killed when a bus hit his motorcycle in Dhaka's Malibagh on Tuesday afternoon. Around the same time, a tailor lost his life after being hit by a motorcycle while crossing the road in Elephant Road.
The victim in Malibagh was identified as Palash Molla, around 36, who ran a business named Binimoy Money Exchange in Motijheel.
He was on his way home for Iftar when a Victor Classic Paribahan bus struck his motorcycle in Malibagh Chowdhurypara around 5pm.
In a separate incident, Abdul Mannan, around 61, was killed while crossing the road in front of the Suvastu Arcade ICT Bhaban in Elephant Road around 5:30pm.
He owned Pentagon Tailors at BS Bhaban in the area.
