Dhaka, Dec. 28 -- A dispute between neighbours in Moulvibazar resulted in the death of two brothers and life-threatening injuries to another.
Barlekha Police chief Md Moniruzzaman Khan said the incident occurred at Kechhrigul village in Dakkhinbhag Uttar Union.
The dead have been identified as Jamal Uddin, 55, a Kuwaiti expatriate who returned to the country, and his younger brother Abdul Quayum, 48.
The clash also caused grave injuries to their neighbour Jamir Uddin, who is undergoing treatment at Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital.
Police said the neighbouring families had a "longstanding dispute" and that Quayum stood as a suspect in the murder of Jalal Uddin, a nephew of Jamir.
