Dhaka, April 24 -- A Dhaka court has issued travel bans on former Khulna-2 lawmaker Sheikh Salahuddin Jewel, his brothers Sheikh Sohel and Sheikh Jalal Uddin Rubel, and former Bagerhat-2 MP Sheikh Tonmoy.

Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Zakir Hossain Ghalib issued the order on Thursday following an application by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).

Anti-graft watchdog spokesman Akhtarul Islam said the commission's Deputy Director Mostafizur Rahman had filed the petition seeking a stay on their foreign trips.
