Dhaka, March 28 -- No unwanted incidents have been reported, except for "picketing" in parts of Dhaka as of 8 am on Sunday.

Some Hifazat activists were injured in clashes in the Baitul Mukarram area after the Jummah prayers on Friday. Later, at least four people died in clashes with Chattogram police. Another five were killed in a similar incident in Brahmanbaria on Saturday.

Traffic flow remained normal in Dhaka despite the strike called by the Islamist group over the deaths.

Long-haul buses departed from Gabtali, Sayedabad and Mohakhali bus terminals in the capital. Trains are running on schedule, said SI Riaz Mahmud, duty officer in Kamalapur Railway Police Station.
