Dhaka, Feb. 2 -- Protesting students have demanded the education advisor retract his statement regarding the upgrade of Government Titumir College to a university and the law advisor to apologise publicly, accusing them of obstructing their movement.

At a press conference held at the college's main gate at 11pm on Sunday, the students reiterated their demands and announced their next course of action.

They announced that their hunger strike and the "Barasat Barricade to North City" blockade will continue until their seven-point charter of demand is met.

The indefinite suspension of classes and exams under the "Titumir College Shutdown" movement will go ahead.
