Dhaka, Feb. 20 -- Temperatures are rising across Bangladesh, with the Met Office saying there is little prospect of rain in the coming days.

"We had indicated earlier that temperatures would rise after the 15th of February. This trend is expected to continue over the next few days," Meteorologist Kazi Jebunnesa said on Friday afternoon.

While day and night temperatures may fluctuate slightly, the overall weather pattern will remain largely unchanged, she added.

Asked about the possibility of rainfall, she said parts of the Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions could see light drizzles around Tuesday or Wednesday.

"There is a slight chance of rain in those regions," she added.
