Dhaka, Dec. 8 -- Tarique Rahman has called upon the activists to work for the party without considering which candidate received the nomination for the upcoming parliamentary election.

Speaking virtually on Monday from London at the Krishibid Institution auditorium in Dhaka's Farmgate, he said: "We don't have time to sit idle. Our candidates have been announced in different areas. It's even possible that the candidate announced by the party in your area is not the person you preferred; perhaps someone else made it.

"You might have fewer close ties with the person who received the nomination."
