Dhaka, Feb. 14 -- BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman is going to visit Jamaat-e-Islami chief Shafiqur Rahman and National Citizen Party (NCP) Convenor Nahid Islam's residences.

He will go to Shafiqur's Bashundhara residence at 7pm and Nahid's at Bailey Road an hour later on Sunday, according to the BNP's media cell.

The BNP is set to form the government with an outright majority of 209 seats in the parliamentary election held on Thursday.

Jamaat will sit in the opposition with 68 seats, while the NCP will also join the opposition with six seats.

Discussions are under way to hold the oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected MPs and the cabinet on Tuesday.
