Dhaka, Dec. 16 -- The Bangladesh Nationalist Party is preparing a residence and office in Gulshan for Tarique Rahman, who is set to return to Bangladesh after living 17 years in exile in London.

The preparations come amid heightened political attention as the party prepares for his homecoming.

He will move into house No. 196 on Gulshan Avenue. His mother, Chairperson Khaleda Zia, lives next door in a house named "Feroza".

A separate chamber has also been prepared for the acting chief at the chairperson's office in Gulshan.

Another house has been rented in Gulshan for activities related to the parliamentary elections.
