Dhaka, Jan. 21 -- BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman will kick off his election campaign in Sylhet on Thursday, addressing a series of seven consecutive rallies.

Party spokesperson Mahadi Amin shared the information at a press briefing at the BNP's Gulshan office.

He said, "BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman will reach Sylhet by plane at 8:15pm tonight (Wednesday) to start the election campaign. Late at night, he will offer prayers at the shrine of Hazrat Shahjalal, and tomorrow morning he will attend an election rally at the Sylhet Alia Madrasa field."

Tarique will then address the rallies at Sherpur in Moulvibazar Sadar Upazila, the proposed Upazila ground in Habiganj's Shayestaganj, the Kuttapara ground in Brahmanbaria's Sarail Upazila, Bhairab S...
