Dhaka, Dec. 25 -- BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has spoken with Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus shortly after arriving in Dhaka after 17 years in exile in the UK.

A video shared on Tarique's official Facebook page shows the BNP leader speaking with Yunus over the phone at the airport on Thursday.

In the video, Tarique is heard asking about Yunus's health and expressing gratitude on behalf of himself and his family for the extensive arrangements surrounding his security.

"On behalf of myself and my family, I would like to express our thanks to you. You have made various arrangements from your side, especially regarding my security. And we thank you so much. thank you so much for all the arrangements," he is heard saying.
