Dhaka, Dec. 24 -- Acting BNP chief Tarique Rahman's flight for Bangladesh will depart from London's Heathrow Airport shortly after midnight Bangladesh time, senior leader Salahuddin Ahmed has said.

Speaking at a press conference at the BNP chairperson's Gulshan office on Wednesday afternoon, Salahuddin -- also convenor of the party's committee overseeing Tarique's return -- said Khaleda Zia's son would travel on a regular Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight, alongside members of his family.

According to the schedule shared by Salahuddin, the flight will touch down in Sylhet on Thursday morning for a brief stopover before arriving in Dhaka at 11:20am.
