Dhaka, Feb. 7 -- Zaima Rahman has hit the streets to campaign for her father, BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman, as the election race intensifies.

On Saturday, she was seen walking along Gulshan Avenue, distributing leaflets featuring her father's image to passersby and on the footpaths outside residential and commercial areas.

She also visited shopping complexes in the area as part of her campaign.

The day's effort concluded in Gulshan-2 after she covered several neighbourhood spots.

While handing out leaflets, Zaima introduced herself and mentioned that her father is the "sheaf of paddy" candidate for the Dhaka-17 constituency.

She asked people to accept the leaflets and requested their prayers and support for his candidacy.
