Dhaka, Dec. 27 -- Tarique Rahman has visited his in-laws' residence in Dhaka's Dhanmondi, reconnecting with close family members and engaging with pets.

On Saturday afternoon, the BNP acting chairman went to Mahbub Bhaban, the home of former Navy chief Rear Admiral Mahbub Ali Khan, whose youngest daughter Zubaida Rahman is married to Tarique.

He left his Gulshan residence at 5pm to reach the house, where he met with mother-in-law Syeda Iqbal Mand Banu and Zubaida's elder sister Shahina Zaman Bindu.

He spent several hours at the residence. The BNP's Media Cell shared a verified post on Facebook with the caption "Tarique Rahman with animal lovers".
