Dhaka, Feb. 12 -- BNP chief Tarique Rahman has said his party will seek to govern the country with "more or less" all political parties if it wins the election.

Speaking to reporters outside the BNP chairperson's office in Gulshan about two and a half hours before voting ended, he expressed confidence in a BNP victory.

"We have said that the political parties with whom we carried out our movement and struggle -- we want to run the country together with them, and more or less all parties," he said.

Earlier in the day, Tarique visited several polling centres in the capital, including Adamjee Cantonment School and College, Mohakhali, Panthapath, Bhashantek, Manik Mia Avenue, Dhanmondi 27 and Suhrawardy Udyan.
