Dhaka, Feb. 21 -- Tarique Rahman has attended office at the Prime Minister's Office in Dhaka's Tejgaon for the first time since being sworn in as the head of government.

He arrived at the PMO at 10:10am on Saturday, according to a statement.

On arrival, he was received by Principal Secretary ABM Abdus Sattar and Additional Press Secretary Atiqur Rahman Ruman.

Before entering the main building, the prime minister exchanged greetings with officials and employees, including several who had served during the tenure of his mother and former premier Khaleda Zia.

In his chamber, Tarique unveiled a commemorative postage stamp marking Martyrs' Day and International Mother Language Day 2026.
