Dhaka, Dec. 19 -- Tarique Rahman has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Inqilab Moncho spokesperson Sharif Osman bin Hadi, describing the killing as a "conspiracy-driven political murder".

In a condolence message issued on Thursday, the BNP's acting chief prayed for the salvation of Hadi's soul and extended heartfelt sympathy to his bereaved family.

He said, "We are watching with grave concern as certain criminal groups are carrying out planned killings and injuries across the country. This bloodshed is part of a broader blueprint.
