Dhaka, Dec. 26 -- BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has set off for Zia Udyan to visit the grave of his father, the party's founder and former president Ziaur Rahman.
His motorcade left from his residence in Dhaka's Gulshan around 2:45pm on Friday.
According to the BNP Media Cell, after paying his respects at Zia's grave, Tarique will travel to the National Martyrs' Memorial in Savar to pay tribute to the fallen heroes of the 1971 Liberation War.
After spending more than a decade and a half in exile in the UK, Tarique returned to Bangladesh on Thursday.
