Dhaka, May 19 -- A case has been filed in Tangail against deposed prime minister Sheikh Hasina and 192 others, accusing them of rigging votes and organising a "dummy election" in 2024.
Along with the 193 named individuals, the complaint also accuses 150-200 unidentified people.
Among those named in the case, filed on Monday, are the former home minister and agriculture minister, former MP for Tangail-2, and the former chief election commissioner.
It also accused the former inspector general of police, former deputy commissioner, as well as police officers, presiding officers, and activists of the now-banned Awami League and its affiliated organisations.
