Dhaka, Oct. 13 -- Students demanding the final ordinance for Dhaka Central University, proposed to incorporate seven government colleges, have cleared the road while giving the Ministry of Education more time to complete the process.

On Monday afternoon, student representative Md Naim Howlader said they spoke with Education Advisor CR Abrar, who explained the remaining administrative steps to issue the ordinance.

"They have received over 6,000 opinions, which are being compiled. They will then hold consultations with stakeholders. We will give the ministry a few more days to issue the ordinance. We are now heading to the Shikkha Bhaban to announce the vacating of the road."
