Dhaka, Oct. 17 -- Preparations have been completed at the South Plaza of Bangladesh's National Parliament for the signing ceremony of the July National Charter.
Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus will preside over the event, organised by the National Consensus Commission.
Monir Haider, special assistant to the chief advisor and a member of the commission, said that all arrangements had been finalised.
"Preparations for the ceremony at the South Plaza are complete. We are now waiting for the event to begin."
Although the ceremony was scheduled to start at 4pm on Friday, the Chief Advisor's Press Wing said the event might be delayed slightly due to "inclement weather".
