Dhaka, July 1 -- The written exam (MCQ type) for the special 48th BCS to recruit doctors will be held on Jul 18 as previously scheduled.

The Public Service Commission (PSC) announced the date on Tuesday.

The two-hour exam will begin at 10am and end at 12pm.

Previously, on May 29, the PSC published the notification for the 48th Special BCS. This BCS will recruit 3,000 doctors, including 2,700 assistant surgeons and 300 assistant dental surgeons.

Earlier, through the 39th and 42nd Special BCS, nearly 9,000 doctors were appointed.

Online application and fee submissions for the 48th Special BCS were open from Jun 1 to Jun 25.
