Dhaka, Feb. 24 -- Controversial singer Mainul Ahsan Noble has secured bail just a day after being arrested on charges of embezzling Tk 1.3 million and attempting to film a woman against her will.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Raju Ahmed granted him bail on Tuesday on condition of a settlement, according to complainant's lawyer Sajidul Islam.

Noble was arrested on Monday afternoon in Narayanganj's Siddhirganj under a court-issued warrant, according to Demra Police Station chief Md Taifur Rahman Mirza.

Police said the case was filed in August 2025 after the young woman claimed that Noble, "promising marriage", had detained her in his studio and pressured her into producing objectionable photos and videos.
