Dhaka, June 13 -- A case has been filed against ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina, her son Sajeeb Wazed Joy, and 220 others for allegedly trying to murder a man in the capital's Mohammadpur during the July Uprising.
The victim, 38-year-old Sohel Rana, filed the case at Mohammadpur Police Station on Wednesday.
On Friday, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Sefat Ullah ordered a report on the matter to be submitted by Jul 20.
Other accused individuals named in the case include Awami League General Secretary and former road transport minister Obaidul Quader, former home minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, and former law minister Anisul Huq.
