Dhaka, June 27 -- The government is considering allowing one candidate, who missed her Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) exam because she was taking her mother to the hospital, to still take the test.

Education Advisor Chowdhury Rafiqul Abrar said that the student's case is being "taken into consideration on humanitarian grounds".

The information was provided in a post on the Facebook page of Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus's Office on Friday.

This year's HSC and equivalent examinations began on Thursday. The Bangla First Paper exam was on the first day.
