Dhaka, Jan. 15 -- Protesting Students from seven colleges, demanding the final issuance of the Dhaka Central University ordinance, have vacated the road after announcing a "Mass Gathering and Ordinance Stage".

On Thursday, they blocked the Science Laboratory intersection from 12:45pm, obstructing the road for five hours before leaving at 5:45pm.

Traffic gradually returned to normal afterwards.

Student representative and Dhaka College student Md Naeem Howlader told reporters that the "Ordinance Stage" would attract the attention of national leaders, and the next course of action would be decided through collective discussions.
