Bangladesh, Aug. 4 -- Sunamganj transport owners and workers have declared an indefinite work stoppage after workers clashed with students from the Sunamganj University of Science and Technology (SUST) over bus fare.

The strike has halted all bus service and limited other public transport options.

No buses have run on the Sunamganj-Sylhet road since Sunday night, and no long-haul buses left on Monday morning. There were also fewer minibuses, microbuses, and autorickshaws on the road. Due to the strike, commuters and passengers are facing serious difficulties.
