Dhaka, Feb. 18 -- Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has outlined a 180-day action plan prioritising keeping essential goods affordable, improving law and order, and ensuring smooth implementation across key sectors.

On Wednesday, Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed said Tarique delivered guidance and instructions during the first cabinet meeting following the government's formation.

Earlier, Tarique arrived at the Secretariat for his first working day after forming the government on Tuesday.

Ministers and state ministers proceeded to their respective offices before convening the cabinet meeting.
