Dhaka, March 5 -- The interim government has removed the name of deposed prime minister Sheikh Hasina's son Sajeeb Wazed Joy from two geostationary satellite stations following the renaming of Bangabandhu Satellite-1.

Earlier on Monday, a notification issued by the Posts and Telecommunications Division said Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus had greenlit the proposal to change the name of the Bangabandhu satellite to Bangladesh Satellite-1.
