Dhaka, Dec. 11 -- Following the resignations of two student advisors Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain and Mahfuj Alam, their roles have been reassigned to Adilur Rahman Khan, Asif Nazrul, Syeda Rizwana Hasan.

Housing and Public Works Advisor Adilur now oversees the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operatives.

Law Advisor Nazrul takes up youth and sports, while Environment Advisor Rizwana assumes responsibility for the information ministry.

The reallocation of portfolios was formalised on Thursday by the Cabinet Division, hours after Chief Election Commissioner AMM Nasir Uddin announced the election schedule.
