Dhaka, Feb. 6 -- Relatives of the victims of the July-August uprising have concluded a seven-hour sit-in at Dhaka's Shahbagh intersection, after blocking traffic in a demand for a speedy trial and recognition of the injured.
Shahbagh Police Station chief Mohammad Khalid Mansur said the traffic in the area returned to normal around 6pm on Thursday after the protesters left the street.
They left after National Citizens' Committee Chief Organiser Sarjis Alam spoke to them, he said.
Earlier, around 11am, the relatives of the July Uprising injured blocked the Shahbagh intersection, halting traffic through the busy road in Dhaka.
