Dhaka, March 28 -- Former Bangladesh captain Tamim Iqbal has returned home following his release from the hospital, where he stayed for four days after a stent procedure was carried out on a blockage in his heart.

On Friday, Doctors said the risks had reduced a lot but the opener would have to rest for a long time and follow medical guidance.

Tamim returned home from Evercare Hospital on Thursday afternoon.

He will have to return to the hospital on Saturday for some diagnosis and dental care. He would also have to remain in contact with his doctors at all times, even while staying at home.
