Dhaka, Jan. 14 -- A chilling video circulating on social media shows a young street vendor clinging to the outside of a moving train with bottles of water and juice balanced on his head, repeatedly pleading for the train to stop.

Railway officials confirmed that the incident occurred on Monday near Rajendrapur, where the vendor, attempting to board the train, ended up hanging from a closed door.

Witnesses in the video describe the train as moving slowly across a bridge when he leapt aboard and grabbed the handle for dear life, only to slip off after hitting an external fixture.

Rail police said the vendor was taken to hospital, treated for injuries, and later discharged. However, his full identity remains unknown.
