Dhaka, Oct. 7 -- All divisions in the country, aside from Rajshahi, will see some rain this week, according to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department.

After that, temperatures will start to rise.

Following this period of rain and heat, Bangladesh may start to feel the effect of winter around mid-November.

Meteorologist Abul Kalam Mollik said on Wednesday afternoon: "There may be a little less rain in Rajshahi. Aside from that, there might be one or two showers throughout the day in all other divisions until Oct 11. It will start to get hotter after that."

"However, the forecast does not indicate that winter will immediately follow the rain. We may start to feel the winter chill around the middle of November."
