Dhaka, Dec. 17 -- The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested the mother and father of Faisal Karim Masud, the main suspect in the attack on Inqilab Moncho leader Sharif Osman bin Hadi.

Wing Commander MZM Intekhhab Chowdhury, director of RAB's law and media wing, confirmed the development on Tuesday night.

The elite force recovered two firearms and one object resembling a pistol from Narsingdi. "One of the pistols is believed to have been used in the attack on Hadi," the officer said.

In addition, two magazines loaded with 11 rounds of ammunition and a knife were recovered from the area near Faisal Karim's sister's house in Dhaka's West Agargaon, according to the RAB.
