Dhaka, Nov. 29 -- Senior BNP leader Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has said that Bangladesh's political roadmap must be stabilised alongside efforts to strengthen the country's economic strategy.

At the 4th Bangladesh Economic Conference in a Dhaka hotel on Saturday, he said: "In the roadmap for the future, it is not enough to just have the economic plan. The political roadmap must also be stable."

"It (the political roadmap) must have stability and permanence."
