Dhaka, Nov. 23 -- A Dhaka court may set the date of the verdicts in three cases filed by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) against deposed prime minister Sheikh Hasina, her son Sajeeb Wazed Joy, and daughter Saima Wazed Putul on charges of graft involving 30 katha of land in the Purbachal New Town Project.
The ACC and the defendants are scheduled to conclude their arguments in the court of Dhaka Special Judge Mohammad Abdullah Al Mamun on Sunday.
Advocate Khan Md Moinul Hasan Lipon will present his arguments on behalf of the ACC. After that, lawyer Shahinur Rahman will present his arguments on behalf of Mohammad Khurshid Alam, the former member of RAJUK (Estate and Land) and the only suspect in custody.
