Dhaka, Feb. 12 -- After casting his ballot in Chattogram, Advisor Faruk E Azam has said the vote is an opportunity for people to express their opinion and they do not want to lose it.

He cast his vote at the Bangladesh Mahila Samity Girls' High School polling centre at 7:30am on Thursday.

After voting, he said: "The feeling is extraordinary. The country has been in a festive mood for the past two days. This travel home by bus, train, launch is unprecedented. We have not seen such a situation before.
