Dhaka, Nov. 16 -- A pedestrian has been injured in a crude bomb blast in Dhaka's Eskaton.
The incident occurred at 8am on Sunday, said Inspector Sajjad Hossain of Hatirjheel Police Station.
"We have heard a report that a man named Bashir has been injured by a crude bomb thrown by an unknown attacker in front of the Waqf estate," he said. "We are making enquiries."
The victim, Abdul Bashir, works in the private sector.
He told the media he was caught in a crude bomb attack on his way to work.
