Dhaka, Nov. 20 -- A passenger bus has caught fire in front of the Bangladesh Television (BTV) building gate in Dhaka.

The incident occurred around 10:00pm on Wednesday in Rampur, leaving the vehicle completely charred.

Authorities confirmed that no one was injured in the blaze.

Rakibul Hasan, duty officer at the Fire Service control room, said two units were dispatched after receiving reports of the fire on the Victor Transport bus. They brought the flames under control.

The incident comes shortly after a separate event in Pallabi, where a police officer was injured in back-to-back crude bomb explosions.
