Dhaka, April 16 -- Pakistan's Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch has arrived in Dhaka to participate in foreign secretary-level talks, marking the first such visit in 15 years.
Officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said she landed in Dhaka on Tuesday afternoon
She was received at Dhaka's Shahjalal International Airport by Ishrat Jahan, head of the ministry's South Asia wing.
The Foreign Office Consultation (FOC), a platform for dialogue between the two countries, is scheduled to be held on Wednesday at the State Guest House Padma. The last such meeting was held in 2010.
Bangladesh will be represented by Foreign Secretary Jashim Uddin, while Amna will lead the Pakistani delegation.
