Dhaka, Jan. 24 -- The body of a Bangladesh Chhatra League activist, found with his limbs bound, has been recovered from a septic tank in Lakshmipur eight days after he went missing.
Police said one individual was arrested over the incident in Dhaka, but did not reveal his name.
The body was recovered from the septic tank of an expatriate's vacant house in Sadar Upazila on Saturday, said Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration and Finance) Hossain Mohammad Raihan Kazemi.
The dead, identified as Fazle Rabbi, 21, was a resident of Hazirpara Union in Sadar Upazila. Locals said he was a student of Chandraganj Kafil Uddin Degree College and a Chhatra League activist.
