Dhaka, Oct. 1 -- There is no possibility of lifting the suspension on Awami League's activities, Law Advisor Asif Nazrul has said.
Asked about Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus's comments on the party during an interview with GTO at the UN General Assembly, Nazrul said: "What the chief advisor said was theoretical."
"Theoretically, when a party's activities are banned, the question remains whether it is permanent or not. But in practical terms, I see no possibility of the suspension on Awami League's activities being withdrawn."
