Dhaka, Dec. 2 -- Nestle Bangladesh has organised "The Gut Nexus," a two-day workshop on gut microbiome science, bringing together over 250 scientific experts and research professionals.
The event combined expert talks with interactive sessions, providing a platform for participants to explore the latest research on gut health.
International speakers Dr Shaman Rajendrajith of Sri Lanka and Dr Mark A Beninga of the Netherlands, discussed the importance of gut health and functional gastrointestinal disorders.
Adding a local perspective, Dr Md Iqbal Hossain from ICDDR, B highlighted the role of gut-friendly foods in the Bangladeshi diet.
