Dhaka, Dec. 2 -- Nestle Bangladesh has hosted "The Gut Nexus", a two-day workshop dedicated to the science of the gut microbiome, underscoring its commitment to advancing and sharing evidence-based nutrition with scientific experts and research professionals.

The event combined expert lectures with interactive learning, offering a platform for more than 250 specialists from multiple disciplines to examine the latest findings in gut health, a statement said on Tuesday.

International speakers Prof Shaman Rajendrajith of Sri Lanka and Prof Dr Mark A Beninga of the Netherlands delivered detailed sessions on the role of gut health and the prevalence of functional gastrointestinal disorders.
