Dhaka, Dec. 31 -- Hasnat Abdullah, a senior organiser of the National Citizen Party (NCP), has declared an annual income of Tk 1.25 million and total assets worth Tk 5 million in his election affidavit.

The 27-year-old, a native of Gopalnagar village in Debidwar Upazila, submitted the affidavit with his nomination papers to contest the 13th parliamentary election from the Cumilla-4 (Debidwar) constituency.

Debidwar Upazila administrator (UNO) Md Rakibul Islam, the assistant returning officer, said the affidavit was filed on Monday along with Hasnat's nomination.
