Dhaka, Nov. 14 -- The National Citizen Party (NCP) has identified "many ambiguities" in the July National Charter Implementation Order.
The party's Member Secretary Akhter Hossen made the observation on Friday afternoon, a day after the order was issued.
"We have noticed several ambiguities," he said. "This raises doubts about whether the July Charter can be implemented fully."
The order, issued on Thursday by President Mohammed Shahabuddin, specifies holding a referendum on the same day as the general election.
It also details the questions to be included in the referendum, with one question having four clauses requiring a "yes" or "no" vote.
