Dhaka, Dec. 15 -- The National Memorial monument in Savar has been prepared to honour the nation's heroes on Victory Day.

On Monday, the National Memorial was seen fully painted and decorated in red and green hues with spring flowers, while the martyrs' altar and mass grave were thoroughly washed and cleaned.

The Public Works Department (PWD) has made extensive preparations for the occasion, including painting and refurbishing the memorial premises. Law-enforcing agencies implemented a four-tier security arrangement.

At daybreak, hundreds of thousands, including the president, chief advisor, Advisory Council members, chiefs of the three Armed Forces, foreign diplomats, freedom fighters, and others, will pay homage to the nation's brave...
